Production Cells
A production cell is designed so that the production flow is split into a number of self-contained units. Each cell is responsible for performing a specific part of the process of the finished product. These cells can be manned or fully automated.
A robot can be used for part handling between cells. This can minimise the risk of damage, contamination or parts being mixed up.
Typical Applications
Automated Assembly
Infotainment Testing
ECU Testing
Steering Wheel Control Testing
Display Testing
Full Functional Testing
The station communicates with the part handling robot that the station is clear to load. Once a part is loaded onto the rotary table and the robot is clear, the table rotates to the test position. Another part can be loaded onto the table whilst the first part is tested. Once the test is complete, the part rotates back around and is removed by the part handling robot, where it is moved onto the next part of the process.
